I loved the story and could totally relate to the whole "out of my element" theme. Although I do feel the book could have been a little longer and the romantic element was a bit rushed, I still enjoyed this book!
From the very beginning, the tension between the two would've caused fires to engulf the space between them. The old city boy meets country boy flares again. Ahhh but country boy has the brain in this tryst. Dyne must come to acknowledge the wolf he's suppressed, the corporate ladder as his reason his beast had been caged. Yet in order to take the next step up, he must find his wolf and embrace the change.
Enter Tristan. Known with a reputation for opening caged doors, he's been called in to break the barrier Dyne had placed. From the very first "pretty boy" tempers flared. Flaring until their bodies and mouths connect in heated angry lust. The wolf makes it's entrance.
Their coming together is tainted by a group of fanatics bent on eradicating werewolves off the face of the earth. Lead by one of their own kind.
Noah has brought forth a story full of emotions clashing against each other. Ending in a couple beating the odds set before them.
I loved Dylan and Tristan's story. I really love all of Noah's stories and this is just another.
A short, quick sexy read from NH about two werewolves who are as opposite as night and day but forced to live and work together in the wilderness.
A must for both werewolf lovers and fans of Noah Harris...
Love the basis of this story with its corporate culture of pack life vs the traditional pack culture.
Wanted more at the ending. Would like to revisit these two wolves again.
I had no trouble recognizing these characters as they shared real elements of people I have known or encountered. The background settings, though, seem too exaggerated. Why is it that characters in these types of stories have to be super wealthy or otherwise powerful? I for one find little interest or attraction in that. Still, it was a fun read and a lot in such a short novella.
Noah Harris has done it again. This novella about Dyne and Tristan was very engaging. There was angst, resentment, frustration, humor, protective instincts and an undeniable attraction. All this made for a great story line and characters! Dyne is hardworking and driven. Just when he thinks he's finally achieved what he he has worked tirelessly for...it is taken away because he is a werewolf that cannot "change". He is offered one last chance at getting everything he wants. Tristan is a unique individual that works with wolves, teaching them how to make the change. Both men push each other's buttons and tempers flare to an exciting climax! Noah adds in a bit of danger to round out the story. The perfect book when you are looking for a quick read!
