Holy cow. This is probably the closet to the erotica genre as one can get. The story; which takes place in the 1950’s, follows the lives of Leah, Erica, and Rob (aka Mr. Nolan). Leah and Erica are best friends and have spent most of their lives together. When they find a photography studio under Mr. Nolan’s bed (who is also Erica’s father) their lives begin to change in exotic and erotic ways.This story is pretty good and I have to say Selena Kitt has QUITE the imagination. This story of course is considered taboo as it involves a friend falling in love (and lust) with her best friend’s father. Of course, the book is taboo in more than one way but you’ll have to read it to find out! Selena Kitt is a good writer and her story flows easily. It’s not a long read luckily because once you dive into this book you won’t be able to put it down until you’re finished. The only issue I had with this book is the way the girls acted. One would think they are 14 year old girls but this in fact is not true. They are both in college! You’ll see what I mean when you read it!
Only those who are 18+ should read this one as it contains MATURE content.

Temptation Under Mr Nolan Bed Book 1 edition by Selena Kitt Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is the first book of three in this particular series (that I'm aware of) and I thought Selena really did her research! She took us back in time to the 1950's and it felt like I was really there! The TV shows that the girls watched, the 'new' movies that were out, the clothes everyone wore, the music (Elvis), even the food items that the girls bought on the way home from school were authentic! I enjoy stories so much more when an author does their homework!
The characters were defined well with their different personalities and I felt the story line (albeit taboo) was strong. Personally, now days I really don't think there's a big deal with the age difference but this was in the 50's involving people from the same Catholic Congregation so that put some serious punch into the story.
I read the original UMNB and really enjoyed it. This re-vision of it is not as enjoyable for me. It is more a 3.5 rating than 4 star. Here's why. The original story is a contemporary setting. This was quite enjoyable for me. The sex was hot the f/f plus incest was written in a way that was understandable.
In this one, it's almost the same except as Ms. Kitt indicates, it's been taken back to the 1950's. The prudish attitude while realistic made it difficult for me to get through. I avoid stories in this time period for this specific reason. I don't even watch movies in this time period.
The sex in this book is still hot. Ms. Kitt is very good with her sex scenes. It's still similar to the original yet it feels a bit more taboo because of the time period. I'm still a bit aroused by the confessional scene. I used to have issues with a priest in sexual situations. It's blasphemous to me. Now, I'm no longer have any issue due to another author blowing my mind with a sadistically sexy priest.
Back to this story, reading it this second time around, it makes me wonder if the reveal ending is actually true. Leah is in love with her best friend Erica's father, Rob. Rob appears to be quite the sexual deviant for his time. Due to his history with Leah's mother, it makes one question Leah's mother big reveal. Perhaps it was just a way for Leah's mother to stick it to Rob. It also makes me think a bit less of Rob. It's almost as if he decided to go for the younger newer model.
The story is still tightly written and for those who never read the original one, you will probably enjoy it much better. I recommend this book to kinky readers who enjoy pushing boundaries.
OMG. This is totally the hottest book I have read. Selena Kitt knows how to reach into your most private and most titillating thoughts. I should be ashamed but I'm not. You see I read this on my and no one knows that I had a smutty, filthy book in my hands. Thank God. And speaking of God, this book hits on my Catholic school history and all those illicit thoughts we had about boys and men and oh yes, priests. We were just normal girls attending an all-girls high school with all the normal teenage sexual needs and trying to understand it all. So yeah, this book hits a few triggers but then I could go to confession and it will all be well again. Anyway back to this book. It was a well written book with great characters. There is our main character, Leah and her best friend, Erica and then threesome is completed by Erica's father Rob aka Robert Nolan aka Mr. Nolan. Have to say I really enjoyed having sex with Mr. Nolan but not so much Rob. When it is taboo it is so much more special, right? I can understand the confusion that Leah and Erica are having over all the sex stuff they have uncovered under Mr. Nolan's bed. A must read.
So I'm a bit at a loss for words. Reading that last page I feel like I should hate this book, problem is, I didn't. Damn it was hot. Like, get me all riled up hot. I'm not usually into f/f scenes but there was just something about these girls. No inhibitions...not being embarrassed about making themselves feel good in front of each other (you know masterbating, but I kind of hate that word) I mean, I could never! But it sure was exciting to read. The Mr. Nolan thing didn't really bother me. I guess it's kind of bitchy to do to your best friend but the age difference didn't seem too pervy to me. Now with that said, I guess the original version was WAY pervy. I'm glad I didn't read it first because I probably would've hated Rob. Well maybe...sometimes no matter how good you want to be, sometimes you're just bad...in a good way 😂
